The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate have analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team.

Responsibilities:

Record transactions accurately and reconcile accounts of various clients monthly.
Identify and address outstanding transactions identified in credit card and bank reconciliations.
Process bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly payroll for various clients and file payroll returns on a quarterly and annual basis.
Process bills and bill payments.
Provide collection services on open receivables and evaluate open payable accounts
Evaluate work done by clients or themselves to identify issues and correct them
Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule.
Provide value added comments to clients regarding financial results as displayed on financial package prepare for client.

Required Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and word
Proficient in QuickBooks desktop and online software.
Ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and client interactions

Success Criteria:

Consistently produce error-free financial reports within deadlines
Maintain a 100% accuracy rate in recording and reconciling financial transactions
Apply learned skills to similar situations successfully
Ability to learn from mistakes and take corrective action to avoid repeating them
Exhibit proactive communication to address potential financial discrepancies promptly
Demonstrate reliability by adhering to deadlines and responding to inquiries in a timely manner
Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members by providing professional and courteous service.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance.
2 - 5 years' experience in bookkeeping
